To all of Teds family For all the years I've known Ted there were too many stories that ran through my mind when Tom called me with the news. Ted was an inspiration and mentor for me and became a good friend. Over the years many challenges were overcome, but he was always was kind to me and that is what I will remember. Please accept our condolences and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bill and Elaine

My deepest sympathy to Cheryl and Courtney and all Eds family. Ed was a very dear friend and we spent many hours at "Fort Gansy" as Ed like to refer to his getaway spot. I hope in some way our friendship made his time at the Fort more enjoyable. Ed will always hold the top spot in my memories of the many years I spent on the Island.

I will love and miss you forever, Opa. Thank you for taking me to the circus and to my first trip to Walt Disney World and Animal Kingdom, letting me fish in your pond, taking me on a boat and train trip in Connecticut to view Gillette Castle, showing me Lake Winnipesaukee, but, most of all, thank you for your love and for always being there for us. We will always keep you in our hearts.

Please accept my deepest and most sincere sympathy. What a sad day to learn of Ed's passing. The small fraction of his time that I met him and talked with him was inspiring but brief. I thought we would have another conversation. I though there would be more time. Perhaps we all think there will be more. We don't know when we will be called, when our Higher Power will give us our wings. All we can do is try to live as hard, passionately and deliberately as we can while we're here so there are no, or, at least fewer regrets at the finish line. It appears that Ed must have lived with such passion and drive. What he did was with love. It was obvious he loved his family, Tom and siblings, Miles - with all of his heart. He loved his summer island, boating and the water. I found his energy for living, and for doing all that he took on, to be inspiring. I am grateful to have met your Dad. A Quote: "The only measure of your words and your deeds is the love you leave behind when you're done," - Fred Small, songwriter/UU minister. Ed's work, words and deeds are too great to measure - as is the amount of love he left with you. Sending you condolences on your loss. I will remember Ed fondly for his inspiring energy and love for living and especially for his family.
