Dr. Malone was our pediatrician for many years. We lived on Westwood Street in Manchester and we still remember Dr. Malone making house calls when we were sick. He was a kind and gentle man, who calmed the fears of a sick child. It was no surprise to read about his wonderful life and family in the obituary. We hope that his chldren and grandchildren will keep his values alive. Our sincere condolences to all of you.

Dear Sean,
John and I are so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was Joel and Jeffreys doctor for many, many years. Being a new mother with our son Joel everything was a real emergency and your dad had such an ability to calm me down and assure me Joel would live through what ever was wrong at that moment. When Joel went through a spell where he would not eat , your Dad told me give him what ever he would eat and at that time it was jelly donuts. And so Joel ate mostly jelly donuts for about a week and then started to eat normal again. Of course I sure he was going to die ,but Dr Malone said give him what he will eat and so I did. When Jeffrey was born with Down's, your Dad was so kind and caring. I will always remember him for that.
Dr Malone was a wonderful man. You should be so proud and honored to call him your father. Again Sean we are so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
John & Joyce Cicerchia (Jim Donovans sister)

Dr. Malone was a weekly fixture at Highland Park for over a dozen years. He would come read with my second and third grade students. His commentary was always right on...this one is moving right along, these are your fps (finger-pointers), what a good strong reader you have here! He always carried his own book, and would deliver a stack of magazines that were still delivered from his practice - parenting to share with staff, girls world for my own daughters (I passed the boys along, as well as the pregnancy ones), and Mensa with an article to share with me. We once wrote an editorial for the JI together encouraging parents to take an active role in reading with their children. Dr. Malone would share funny, intelligent quotes and articles. He and I had a thing for palindromes (words you read the same forward and backward, such as dad or radar). He once found a whole sentence that letter by letter was a palindrome! My greatest memory was when he took me out on my lunch break for a ride with the top down in his prized car ;-) I will miss him dearly and think of him always as I read with the children! Sincerely, Sheri Delissio

Dear Malone family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have the best of memories of Dr. Malone as our family pediatrician and of the Malone's as friends and neighbors in my childhood. Laura and Chris and Prudy taught me to play "Mass" and I ended up becoming a priest. Grace works in mysterious ways. I have a new doctor in WV, who it turns out is also a "Dr. Malone." I have come full circle. Thank you so much for being wonderful people. The good doctor and all of you are in my fondest memories and prayers. Fr. Casey

Dear Malone Family: Dr. Malone was our pediatrician since our oldest sister Paula moved to Manchester in 1959. Soon there was Cyndi, Donna and Lisa Fabrizi and Dr. Malone took care of all of us. We visited Dr.'s practice on Main St. in Manchester for many, many years with chicken pox, stomach viruses, and everything else under the sun. Dr. Malone took good good care of all 4 of us girls. Dr. Malone, thank you so much of all that you have done for us. We would like extend our sincerest and deepest condolences to the entire Malone family on the good Doctor's passing. He was a superb doctor. May Dr. Malone rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.

When I was expecting my daughter my sister-in-law recommended Dr. Malone because he was her son's doctor and she loved him. He always had a smile on his face and I soon came to love him too. My infant daughter had an exceptionally strong grip and he once said if the Green Bay Packers knew she was around they'd be knocking at my door. He took care of her the first 18 years of her life and it was a sad day when she outgrew his care. I think he would be pleased to know she grew up to be a special education teacher and her daughter is now a junior in college aspiring to be a physical therapist. I am sorry for your loss.
