Martha Coutermarsh posted a condolence

Stories from Andy's distant past. A good friend during his year's at Dartmouth College, Mark Coutermarsh always has a chuckle to share about the city kid who was "left off at college" by his Dad. On the way home his Dad stopped to see some folks (Ernie and Jean) who came to the area also from Manchester, asked if they'd invite Andy down for a home cooked meal once in a while. Through those visits Mark met Andy knew he was an OK kid. From then on he was included with the adventures with Ernie and Mark and a number of others. Oh, the stories. Teaching Andy to hunt deer, to fly fish and just be one of the boys. Mark tells of taking him out for his first fly fishing lesson, how on first cast, he threw his line (and his pole) all the way across the river! How on a hunting trip they left Andy by the car to wait for the deer they were going to flush out but like they knew he would, Andy wandered into the woods to be in on the action. The men saw him down below and from the top of the hill were rolling rocks down by him in the near dark. They watched Andy going crazy thinking all those sounds were deer going by him... then the next night at the bar telling about all the deer in the woods. Andy found out this was a prank so got retaliation... sent an AA gentleman to visit Mark at his store to say he'd been contacted by a friend and wanted to help Mark... you might imagine how that conversation would go. Or about the time, in his new sports coat Andy visited Mark's wife in the hospital with her first born, convinced Andy to hold the baby (Deb) who proceeded to throw up on Andy's new jacket. He never let Deb forget she'd done that! Or when Andy and his friends came to Mark's in the night and piled all the picnic tables from the park across the street up against Mark's front door.... There was never a dull moment. A wonderful man, made more wholesome by the men of North Hartland, Vermont!

For Mr. Ansaldi's family,
Larry and I are so sorry to hear of your fathers passing, the last time I saw him he was at Saint James school watching one of the many school presentations for his grandchildren, obviously a supportive and involved Grandpa. Our son Benjamin is a classmate of Evan and Erik in the third grade. I personally remember some wonderful weekends with Amoree at his home in Bolton many years ago and he was very kind and welcoming to me, I never forgot that.
We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers and hope that with time your sadness will be lessened by the beautiful memories of a special father.
God Bless,
Larry, Ben and Beth (Heine) Blackwell

To the Ansaldi Family I was saddened to hear that Andy had passed away. He was a kind man and was always willing to help people out by giving them advice or a helping hand. Many years ago he helped me and the Town of Manchester Fire Dept. with the Soap Box Derby program. Andy was always willing to assist the Fire Dept with anything they needed. He was a great friend to many. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Robert Barker, Retired Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal

It has been very difficult for me to deal with the passing of the BEST father-in-law ever. Rest in peace "BO". I have been blessed to have had Bo in my life for the past 28 years. He left us exactly 26 years to the hour of hosting a wonderful rehearsal dinner for Andy and I in Port-au-Prince and his service will be on January 12, 2015 exactly 5 years after the Haiti earthquake. It warms my heart to know that Bo loved Haiti and loved coming to visit.

I remember Cousin Andy's eulogy at his Dad' funeral. He said you can pick your friends but you cannot pick your family and how blessed he was to have such a wonderful family. He went on to say how that he not only work with his father but that he worked with his best friend. He now is reunited with him and his Mom for eternity. He will be missed but he will not be forgotten as he lives on through that blessed family. With Sorrow and LOVE. Cousin Jack and Lori Jesse and Jaime Ansaldi
