Raymond Joseph Ponticelli, 73, of Manchester and Deerfield Beach, FL the husband of Carol (Ferry) Ponticelli died Saturday, May 17, 2014 in Florida. Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Kathleen (Prange) Ponticelli. Ray was always meticulous about his well-kept lawn and the kids at Keeney Street School were often reminded "Don't walk on Mr. Ponticelli's lawn." Ray was a self-employed contractor for many years. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter Christine Ponticelli of Florida; son-in-law Mark Putnam; grandchildren Danielle Glynn and her husband Keith, and Mark Putnam, Jr. and his fiancé Nikki Epps. He was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen Putnam. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (May 30th) at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church, 896 Main St. Manchester, followed by burial in St. James Cemetery.
