Obituary of Harris J. Price

Harris James Price, age 83, of Manchester, CT passed away at home on Thursday, March 13, 2014 with his family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Vivian (Irving) Price. Harris was born on August 2, 1930 in Augusta, Maine to the late Harris L. and Addie Price. He worked at Pratt & Whitney until his retirement. Harris lived in Florida for many years and later came back to Connecticut. He loved bowling and golfing. Besides his wife Vivian, he leaves behind his daughters Deborah Morse of Manchester, Dona Dumore of Tolland and a son David H. Price of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Ryan Price of Andover, Erin Warren of Kentucky and Emerson Dumore III of Tolland; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Saturday (March 22, 2014) from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. with prayers and eulogy beginning at 12:00. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. of CT 2075 Silas Deane Highway Suite 100 Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
