Obituary of Stephen L. D'Arcy
Stephen L. D’Arcy, age 51 of Manchester, CT, passed away suddenly on October 31, 2022, in Manchester. Stephen was born in Hartford to Gilles & Renee D’Arcy on September 18, 1971. He went to Manchester High School and graduated in 1990.
He went to earn a degree in Phlebotomy from Manchester Community College. He worked as a Phlebotomist at Manchester Memorial Hospital and American Red Cross for over 25 years. Along the way, he accumulated many Employee Pursuit of Excellence awards.
He was an avid sports fan especially of the Washington Redskins and Boston Celtics, enjoyed watching and attending games with his 2 nephews. He was happiest when surrounded by friends and family.
He is survived by his parents Gilles & Renee D’Arcy from Largo, FL, his brother Eric, his sister-in-law Alison from Manchester, along with his cherished nephews Cameron and Connor, as well as many aunts and uncles, cousins, and good friends.
Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, on Saturday, November 12th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral home service.
