Where do I even begin??? We’ve known each other for more over 45 years, when you & your family moved around the corner from me. You were like another little brother to me (being the same age as my brother Ed). I watched you (& my brother) grow up into the people you became. We talked several times a day, about sports, the weather, lol, & things that were going on. I will never forget the laughter we shared. When I didn’t hear from you for a few days (which almost never happened) I had to text your brother to see if he’d talked to you. When he told me he hadn’t, I knew something was up). A small part of me was hoping that you were “playing” with me, since it was Halloween, & the day before my birthday (if you we’re playing with me, I’d have killed you myself). When Eric texted me that you had passed, I raced over to your condo so your Eric wouldn’t be there alone! As I pulled up to the stoplight, I knew it was true. NOT IN A MILLION YEARS did I expect it!!! I can’t believe a whole month has gone by. I still go to call you many times a day, whenever I see or hear something that we would have talked about. I remember, most recently, of you pushing me to buy an electric bike, so we could exercise together. I know even more, that I have to find a way to exercise. Grrrrrr!!! I’ve tried to give your parents everything I know about you, that will help them put your affairs (NO, NOT THOSE KIND!!! lol) in order. It was the most dreadful list I’ve ever had to make!!!
I could go on for days, but I’ll wrap it up now.
Love ya brother!!! Save a seat for me so we can watch all the sports we can watch for eternity!!!
My deepest sympathy to your parents, & your entire family, especially your 2 nephews, who I know you adored.

Blessings to Steve's family and friends on his passing. I have been a blood donor for many years and Steve always made a fuss over me. The reason for that is that he was my phlebotomist on one occasion and when finished we put our name and number on a piece of paper to be entered to win Red Sox tickets. Well I was the winner and Steve was so happy for me (he thought it was perhaps not a real contest) and every blood drive after that, he made an annoucement to the whole room that I was the winner of that awesome drawing. My daughter and son-in-law were friends with him from Manchester High School. He will be greatly missed but his wonderful gestures and personality will live in our hearts always.

It was such a pleasure and special honor to have taught Stephen at St. James School.
He was an outstanding student with a big heart and a smile for everyone.
So proud of his 25 years working for the Red Cross.
He will be missed by the Red Cross staff and donors.
As a fourteen gallon blood donor I saw him frequently at the blood drives.
( I still remember the first time he guided me through my donation...sharing so many St. James memories) ....so kind and caring.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family especially his mom and dad and Eric and his wife and children.
His heartfelt ways and beautiful smile will live on in our hearts forever.
Mrs. Kapa and husband and sons Bob and Jim

My first thought of Stephen is his love of people. Stephen had a big heart and an undeniable loyalty to family and friends. He excelled at his work and won several Employee Excellence Awards; he no doubt told stories to blood donors and made them laugh!
We miss you already Stephen!

Steve was a bright light in even the darkest days. He made everyone smile even some of the donors having second thoughts about what they were doing. His stories could be compiled in a book and it would be a best seller. His quick wit and his ability to make every situation funny will be remembered by all who were blessed to know him and for those of us who were fortunate enough to work side by side with him we will never forget all the fun we had just being with him. RIP my friend, you were a class act and you will be missed! My sincere condolences to your family and friends.
