Many thoughts and prayers, love and sympathy to all of Aunt Nellie's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You have lost a loving, caring, giving woman that lived for you. My many cherished memories include Sunday afternoons as a child, and weekend visits as an adult talking at the kitchen table. May knowing she had a wonderful, long life and your memories bring you peace. CRY, LAUGH, REMEMBER.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. Aunt Nellie was an amazing & wonderful woman. Family was the world to her. She loved making ravioli, polenta and pasta sauce and having someone to eat it. She was a most gracious host every time I would visit. We would sit around the kitchen table and laugh and share memories. I will never forget the Sunday afternoons when we were growing up. We would always sit on Grandma Mora's porch steps and play or share laughs with our cousins and Aunt Nellie. Uncle John would sometimes join us but most often he stayed home -right next door-in case our play took us to his yard. They were quite a pair! Hang on to your special memories. I am very sorry that I can't attend her service but my thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Condolences to my cousins losing their mother. She was always generous and fun to be around. Some of my favorite memories are rolling up to Hackmatack after a 9 hour drive, unloading 8 people from the station wagon, and Aunt Nellie would put on a spread for all of the hungry travelers as well as her own family. The visit would last for a week, and be repeated every year. To this day, I don’t know where she got all that good food…we were a hungry bunch!
It was also a rite of passage to be old enough to join the adults playing setback until the wee hours of the morning. With Aunt Nellie as your partner, the odds were pretty good that you’d be on the winning team. She was never shy about sharing her strategy with her partners either!

My prayers and sympathy to all the family. Aunt Nellie was an amazing lady. Growing up, many Sunday afternoons were spent at Grandma Mora's and playing with cousins in Aunt Nellie and Uncle John's yard next door. She loved her family. May all your wonderful memories of her bring you comfort as you grieve.
