Our deepest sympathy to the entire Maloney family. I met Jack in 1970 when he was a police officer in South Windsor. That's when our friendship began. Jack soon left to join the Manchester Police Department. Todd was born and I was asked to be Todd's Godmother. He then introduced me to Larry. I will be forever grateful to Jack for that. I have many fond memories of Jack. I know all of you have many fond memories that will put a smile on your faces during this difficult time. We will never forget "JAKE". Always,

Dear, Jim, Jill, Joyce and Jay: You know how long I have known your family including Mom and Dad. What a shock! It is so scary when your contemporaries pass away. My thoughts are with you daily. Jack was and always will be a sort of legend at MPD. He was different when it was not fashionable to be so. I wish he had stayed for a full career. For me Jack was a friendly guy who I knew, making it a bit easier to adjust to a new job in 1976. Please accept my condolences.

I just learned about Jack's death. I worked with Jack when he was at Manchester PD and we got along nicely. He was a gentleman at all times. If I needed to know about cars, Jack was the man! He had a nice easy-going way about him. I am very sad to hear the news. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Ed Ciolkosz Ret. MPD 1970-2001

I was truly sorry to read about John. We worked on the force in the early 70's. He was always a pleasure to be with and I remember seeing him in his neighborhood after he left the police department. We had a nice conversation and shared some old stories with each other. May you be at peace Jack. Josh

Sharon, So sorry to hear of Jack's death. He broke me in at the Manchester Police Department in 1976. I always liked him and sort of lost track when he left for DOC. I appreciated his patience and blatent honesty when I was a rookie cop. He taught me to be honest with myself for all my remaining years at MPD. Most Sincerely, Spence Frazee

I am very sorry for you loss. I am unable to attend due to other commitments but you will be in my prayers. I worked with Jack only a short time at the Manchester Police Department but I can still remember his laugh. I am sure he is at peace and in a far better place watching over all those he cared so much about. Again Iam sorry for your loss. Al Anderson MPD 1976-present
