My deepest condolences to the Lodge family.
Tom was one of the friendliest and nicest people in my practice as was his family .
So sorry to hear of his passing.
Although I now live in Washington DC my thoughts are with many of my former patients who I always considered friends.

As classmates from East Catholic, Tom and I reconnected later in our Human Resources careers. He was very generous in sharing his knowledge and experiences to help others facing similar issues. He was a true professional combining respect and dignity when developing strategies in his leadership roles. I will keep Tom and his family in my prayers.

Words don’t do justice to the sadness we feel about Tom’s passing. Our hearts and sympathies go out to the Lodge and Giorgio family for this most unexpected loss. I was a classmate of Tom in East ’65 and I long remember him as a kind and thoughtful friend who respected everyone. We reconnected at East’s 50th reunion and it was a pleasure to get to know them both again. Kathie said to my wife Joanne “you should be an honorary alumni” and we took that as an honor. I have fond memories of Tom leading East to victory against Rockville in the ’61-’62 season and helping East to the first state championship in 1965 against Plainville our senior year. But his career and family accomplishments were of far greater significance. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather to his beloved family who have a wonderful memory to cherish. He will be sorely missed in the East community but remembered as someone who demonstrated the core principles of kindness, love and generosity.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Kathie Georgio Lodge, Tom's widow, and all of their family. Kathie and Tom were classmates of mine in the great class of 1965 at East Catholic High School. Tom was a terrific basketball player on the ECHS team that won the State championship, but never let that go to his head. He was friendly to all, and his winning smile and sense of humor persisted throughout his life, as did his involvement in sports and commitment to East Catholic. Tom leaves many friends who will miss him. Kathie, please know that you also have many friends who stand ready to support you in coping with this terrible loss.
