My condolences to John's family. John was a great mentor for me at work when when I first moved to CT and started at Hamilton Standard in 1977. I enjoyed working with John for many years and also on occasion running in Manchester with John. John will be greatly missed by all. Doug Hoover

John and I ran together out of a health spa in Manchester - on the streets and sidewalks, and in a nearby park. And, he visited with our family in Tolland on several occasions - he always enjoyed coming out for a lunch and watching the trout in our backyard pond. Allthough I was 20 years younger, John could outlast me on the hills. He was a good man and lived a long and fruitful life.

I recall, fondly, many years working with John at Hamilton. Best memories were those days spent with him, as the local Rep, in Stockholm at SAS and Lisbon at TAP, as test benches were being set up. The Saipan Kid was one of a kind and will be sorely missed. Bill T.

G'day, John was a wonderful guy! He taught me heaps about how to ge a good field service rep for Hamilton Standard. I reckon his advise to "fix the problems on the shop floor" contributed significantly to my successful career. He was fortunate to have lived such a long life. Best Regards, Rob

Tim and Jack, It has been an honor to know your dad and call him a friend. He was a kind soul, knowledgable, informed, and insightful person. We shared many conversations over the years at the gym after ushering at 7:30 a.m. mass, over time going to breakfast, and getting him to MMH for his volunteer time. He loved you both and will be missed terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Jean-Paul
