I was saddened at the news of Frank's passing. I and my sisters, Sue and Terrie, grew up on the same street with Frank. I have fond memories of him as a young man and know he grew to become a great man. My military and professional careers have taken me far from Connecticut, but those fond memories of childhood, including Frank, have always been with me. I simply wanted to reach out to Emilie and his loved ones and send sincere sympathy. Frank's in our hearts.

Marilyn what a wonderful legacy your dad has left in you. From the time that I met you, you have been a person of warmth, dedication, generous and what I really admire and love is that you contribute all of your wonderful qualities to what your dad instilled in you. I pray this prayer for you and your family; Dear Lord you already know what your children are going through and how their hearts lay heavy right now. The love for this man of honor that you have given to them and this world as a gift now rest securely and comfortably in your arms. Father God I ask that you hold this family close to your bosom and comfort them as you said you would. Allow their grief to be met equally by your power of love. I pray that the celebration of Frank Della Rocco's life comes through everyday in those he has touched. I felt his kindness through his daughter Marilyn so I know he is one of your special ones. Thank you for this family who shared with the world and will continue to honor what could only be a man truly touched by God's grace and mercy. Bless the family and friends in the way that only you can. In Jesus' holy magnificent, matchless name. Amen. All my love Marilyn, lean on God's unchanging hand, let Him support you and let Him be your place of peace a shoulder to cry on and your joy for the gift of life.

I grew up on Avalon Place with Frank...He lived a few houses up the street from us, and was very close to my sister, Terrie. Over the years we all lost track of him, but imagine my surprise when I went to a party at my Niece Lori's home a couple of years back and Frank opened the door to let me in. I didn't realize how much I missed him in my life; my sister had since passed away, and Frank brought back all the good memories of our childhood together. I'm shocked and saddened by his abrupt passing...I'll miss him once again, but am blessed by the fact that he crossed my path a 2nd time...a wonderful friend, a wonderful young man, and a wonderful man. I hope he and my sister Terrie find each other once again; and that we will all meet him when our time comes. I'm so sorry, Emily...Susan

We are so saddened at Frank's passing, though we are also relieved that he is no longer in pain, and is in better place. We tried to figure out where all the years have gone. While we have grown apart over the years, we remember all of great times we had camping with Frank and his family. I've never seen Frank when he wasn't smiling and my guess is, he is smiling down at us now. Even though we can't be there, you are all in our prayers.
