Elizabeth W. Lamoureaux, 105, of Manchester, the wife of the late Andrew Nelson Lamoureaux died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Vernon Manor. Born in Schenectady, NY she was the daughter of Thomas and Frances (Scholski) Walerski. Betty retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after many years of service. She was a communicant of the Church of the Assumption, a member of their Ladies Guild and was an avid bowler. She is survived by her children Ronald A. Lamoureaux and his wife Joan of Manchester, Connie Kaminski and her husband Ronald of South Windsor and Lorraine Weir and her husband John of Cotuit, MA; her grandchildren Robert and wife Michelle, Rebecca, Karen and husband Mitch, Lynn and husband John, Sue, Trish and husband Scott, and John and wife Mai; nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Betty's family would like to offer a special note of thanks to the nurses and staff at Vernon Manor for their kindness and care. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 30th at 9:15 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption 29 Adams St. South, Manchester, followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.
