Obituary of Frank Major
Frank W. Major, 86, formerly of Bolton, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts.
He leaves behind his wife, Claire Major, his daughter, Michelle Major and his son, Ken Major, daughter-in-law, Karen and grandson, Jordan Major. His grandson, Brian Major, predeceased him.
Frank was a paper chemical engineering graduate of Lowell Technical Institute, where he was captain of the golf team. He was a US Navy veteran, having served during the Korean War. He was an avid golfer and Red Sox fan.
The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of the arrangements.
Donations in Frank's memory may be made to American Cancer Society. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
