Obituary of William Davidson
William F. Davidson, 93, of Manchester, the husband of the late Hedwig "Heddy" (Reuther) Davidson, died Monday June 27, 2016 at his home. Born in New London, CT he was the son of the late Charles James Davidson and the late Victoria (LaPlante) Davidson. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II, having served as a Naval Aviator, and retired from Veeder-Root Inc. after many years of service as a Tool & Die Designer. He is survived by his daughter Suzanne Ransom and her husband Joseph of Manchester; his grandson Sean Ransom and his wife Lisa of Manchester; his great-grandchildren, Christopher Ransom and Sherri Gagne and her husband Michael of Manchester; and his great-great-grandchildren Rose-Marie and Michael. William is also survived by his sister-in-law Rita Davidson of Manchester and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
