Edward J. Lewis, 79, the husband of Cheryll (Parson) Lewis died on Sunday (April 3, 2016) at Manchester Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. Edward was born in Lowell, MA the son of Edwin and Blance Lewis and had lived in Coventry for many years. He served in the US Navy and had been employed for twenty-seven years with the Dept. of Transportation, State of CT. Besides his wife Cheryll, Eddie is survived by his son Patrick Lewis and his fiancée Donna Lowd of Willington, his daughter Stacy Turk of Coventry and his grandson James Lewis. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8th at 7:00 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 - 7:00.
