Obituary of Stephen J. Paslow

Stephen J. Paslow, 90, died on Monday, March 28th at Hartford Hospital. Stephen was born in Hartford the son of Nellie Maziarz and had lived in Manchester for many years. He was a US Army veteran, having served in World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was formerly employed by G&W Carpet and was a sixty-five year communicant of St. Bridget Church in Manchester; a life member of the DAV and a Past Grand Knight of Glastonbury Council 2533, Knights of Columbus. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Yvonne and William Whitney of Manchester; his grandchildren Michelle Whitney, Matthew Whitney, Daniel Whitney and his wife Cyrena and his great granddaughter AJ Whitney. He is also survived by his sister Genevive Stankiewicz of Manchester and several nieces and nephews. Besides mother Stephen was predeceased by his brothers Frank and John Maziarz and his sister Catherine Roussin. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1st at noon at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial with full military honors, in St. Bridget Cemetery, Manchester.
