Patricia C. Dagenais, 82, the beloved wife of the late Victor A. Dagenais died on Wednesday (March 16, 2016) at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Ft. Kent, ME, the daughter of Josephel and Clarisse (Landry) Bouthot and had lived in Manchester for over 50 years where she was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption. Pat was a gracious and caring woman who was generous and opened her heart and home to all and put others first. Her deepest passions were spending time with her family, caring for others and tending to her roses. She was loved by many and will be immensely missed. A loving mother and grandmother she is survived by her children and their spouses Victoria Dagenais of Manchester, Kathryn and Robert Broderick of Granby, Russell and Theresa Dagenais of Middletown, Deborah and Bruce Schmidt of Lebanon, Susan and Michael Lewis of Farmington and Jason Hawkins of Ellington; her grandchildren Gregory and Timothy Broderick; Nicholas, Alexandra and Matthew Dagenais, Adam and Alec Schmidt and Ryan and Morgan Lewis. Patricia is also survived by her sisters Theresa LaChance of Gardner, MA and Florence Bachand of Brunswick, MA and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Elise Sorenson at the VNA for extra special attention and care. Funeral services will be held at 9:15 A.M. on Saturday, March 19th, from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of the Assumption, 29 Adams St. South, Manchester. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Hartford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, March 18th, from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
