Obituary of Cynthia Opito

Cynthia Opito (Villa), 53, of Manchester, died Monday March 7, 2016 at home. Born in Hartford and raised in Glastonbury, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Madeline (Pawloski) Villa. She is survived by her two children, Eric Opito and his girlfriend Jamie Spillman of Lebanon and Rachel Pranitis (Opito) and her husband Eric Pranitis of South Windsor; her sister Susan DeCatiff of Ashford and several nieces and nephews. Cindy enjoyed writing songs & poems, her job selling flowers, visits to the beach, the flea market & her travels to Florida. She loved most, just spending time with her children. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St. Manchester on Saturday, March 12th from 9:00-12:00 with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
