Obituary of Frank A. Pinto

Frank A. Pinto, 102, of Manchester the husband of the late Mary E. (Madden) Pinto died Sunday March 6, 2016 at home. Born in Connellsville, PA, he was the son of John and Emmanuella (Matone) Pinto. Frank worked at Pratt & Whitney, Dept. 36, as a cutter grinder and lead man for 34 years. He was an amateur boxer & avid wood worker. He loved music and was a communicant of the Church of the Assumption for many years. Above all, he loved his family. Frank is survived by his children John F. Pinto and his wife Carol of Manchester and Annabel M. Pinto of Manchester, his grandchildren Megan and her boyfriend Ethan of Bolton and Jeffrey and his girlfriend Molly of Manchester, his dear companion dog Sweetie and many loving nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his brothers Peter and Michael Pinto and sister Mary White. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 10th at the Church of the Assumption, 29 Adams St. South, Manchester at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 9th.
