Gloria DellaFera, 93, a life-long Manchester resident, died at Greensprings Healthcare, East Hartford, on January 28, 2016. She was the loving daughter of Felix DellaFera and Anna Pansullo DellaFera and sister of Francis DellaFera, Theresa Genovesi and Constance Brannick, all of whom predeceased her. Gloria was also the proud and doting aunt of many nieces and nephews, always available to cheer them on or to provide encouragement. During her long and interesting life, she spent her business career as an Executive Secretary at the Travelers Insurance Company, was a world traveler, animal lover, active in community theatre, a member of the Manchester Board of Education, a staunch Republican, a patron of the opera and of the arts, and a communicant of St. James Church. Gloria is survived by nieces Linda B. Jackson Oakman of Manchester, Sandra Lamo of West Hartford, and Heidi Eagleton of Houston, and nephew Richard Brannick of Sedona, AZ, and their spouses and children.
