Obituary of Raymond Gallnot

Raymond D. Gallnot, 73, of Andover, beloved husband of Ellen (Lauterbach) Gallnot, died December 29th at Hartford Hospital. Born in New Britain, the son of Albert and Claire Louise (Orne) Gallnot. Raymond was a United States Navy Veteran and served on the USS Ticonderoga. He worked in the Willgoose at Pratt & Whitney for 37 years as a Altitude Refrigeration Operator and AC Technician. Raymond loved the Patriots, Red Sox, golfing, boating, dancing and his cat Kramer. He also served as a member of the Andover Volunteer Fire Department. Besides Raymond's wife Ellen, he is survived by his children Lynn Gallnot of Cromwell, Daniel Gallnot and his wife Connie of Coventry, Yvonne Hart and her husband Shawn of Manchester and Brian Beaupre and his wife Ashlee of Storrs; his grandchildren Jacob, Brianna, and Ashley; his brother Al Gallnot and his wife Marion of Southington. Ray also leaves behind his longest dearest friend Delmar Thompson of Columbia. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Barbara and Betty. Funeral services will be private. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Andover Volunteer Fire Department 11 School Rd. Andover, CT 06232.
