Obituary of Shirley Farnell
Shirley Farnell, 96, the wife of the late John W. Farnell, died Saturday December 12th at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 31st, 1918 in New Bedford, MA the daughter of William and Elaine Hawkins and lived in Manchester for many years. After graduating from high school, Shirley went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree from Rhode Island School of Design Class of 1942. She made her career working in retail at Sage Allen. Shirley is survived by her son Stephen Farnell and his wife Lori of Spokane, WA. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son Bruce Farnell. Funeral Services will be private.
