Gertrude "Trudy" Corcoran, 55,of Manchester, the wife of Peter J. Corcoran died on Thursday November 26, 2015 in West Hartford with her family by her side. Trudy was born in New Haven, the daughter of Yvette (Brochu) Daneault of Guilford and the late Roland Daneault and had lived in Manchester since 2001. She was formerly employed at the Aetna Life Insurance Co. and the Mt Carmel Veterinary Clinic. An active volunteer in many organizations, she supported the Blue Angels of the Manchester Police Dept, the CT Special Olympics, FIDELCO, the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Research, and the Meriden Humane Society. Besides Peter and Yvette, Trudy is survived by her sons Vincent and Scott Genovese and her step-sons Adam and Jeramy Corcoran. She is also survived by her siblings Doreen Ashe of Stratford, David Daneault and his wife Doreen of Barkhamsted, Dennis Daneault and his wife Robin of Manchester, Renee Meskill and her husband Matthew of Guilford and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Thursday (12/3) from 5:00 - 8:00. Burial will be private.
