John A. Woznicki suddenly passed away on November 19, 2015 in Warren CT. John was born in Bridgeport CT where he attended Kolbe High School before building his own home in Warren CT where he carried out his life as a contractor. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Schlich) Woznicki and his children John-Michael, wife Alyson, and 2 grandchildren Ella and Wes, his son James and daughter Jolene. He is also survived by his brother Dan Woznicki, sister Helen Radel as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John lived a full life loving his country home as well as being active in the Boy Scouts. John had a passion for the outdoors, cooking, and any project around the home. John's heart was bigger than most and he was always the first to lend a hand or open his door to friends and loved ones in need. His presence will be missed however never forgotten. A service celebrating John's life will be held November 29th at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 802 Bantam Rd. Bantam CT at 2 pm. Arrangements are being handled by John F. Tierney Funeral Home.
