Jason E. "Jay" Cogan, 36, died Monday, November 2, 2015 at his home. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Gary and Marsha (McCaffrey) Cogan of Manchester. Jay was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and had a great love for animals. Besides his parents, Jay is survived by his brother Clifford Cogan of Manchester, his Uncle Eddie and Aunt Francine Cogan of Maine, Aunt Janice Cogan of Manchester, Aunt Midge Menzies of Maryland, his lifelong childhood friends Eddie Carroll and Mark Tracy and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his Uncle Robert Cogan, Aunt Mary Cooley and Uncle David Cooley. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday November 7, 2015 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00-12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
