Obituary of Michael Canavan
Michael Canavan, 86, of Hebron, the husband of Agnes (Conneely) Canavan died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at his home. Born in Camus, County Galway, Ireland, he came to the United States in 1970, and moved to Hebron in 1972 where he has made his home ever since. He was a life member of the Irish American Home Society and Northern Aid. Besides his wife, he is survived by his siblings; Padriac Welby and his wife Joan, Eileen O'Donnell and her husband Tom and Barbara Naughton all of County Galway, Ireland, and Mary Richards and Bridie Harris both of England. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday (October 31st) at the Church of the Holy Family, 185 Church Street Hebron, CT followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the John F.
