Gary Pinckney, 56, of Manchester, husband of Lynne Edgar died unexpectedly Friday March 30, 2012 at his home. Born in Norwich, CT he was the son of Jack N. Pinckney and Lucinda J. Wheaton. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Chris N. Pinckney and his wife Jolene, Shanna Pinckney, and Michelle Pinckney and her fiancé Tyler; his sisters Patricia Hamilton, Dixie Silvestri and Sharon Merrick, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday (April 4th) at 2 pm at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1-2 pm. Reception will follow service at Ramada Inn 50 Morgan Rd. Hartford, CT.
