Anita (Hussey) Hudak, 82, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late John J. Hudak, Jr. died Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Della (Clancy) Hussey and had lived in East Hartford for many years. Anita had retired from The Aetna after many years of service. She enjoyed reading and knitting, spending summers at the beach house in Old Lyme and spending winters in Florida. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Bittner and her husband Thomas of Vernon, Mark Hudak and his wife Joan of East Hartford, James Hudak and his wife Linda of Bristol, Christine DelRosso and her husband Hugo of South Windsor, and John Hudak of Amston; her grandchildren, Kevin and Paul Bittner, Michael and Joseph Hudak, Sarah and Nicole Hudak, Hugo and Victoria DelRosso, and Joshua Hudak; and her great-grandchildren Riley and Peyton and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Edward Hussey and her sister Patricia O'Rourke. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (August 19th) at 9:15 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christopher Church 538 Brewer St. East Hartford, CT followed by burial with in Silver Lane Cemetery.
