Lillian A. Watrous, 90, of Manchester, beloved wife of 62 years to the late Earl A. Watrous, to whom she was married on October 25, 1947 died on Friday (May 29, 2015) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Manchester, NH the daughter of the late Alphonse and Adelina (Daigle) Martineau, she had lived in Willimantic, Columbia and Manchester for most of her life. She had retired from the Travelers Insurance Company. She is survived by her daughters Michele L. Tedford and her husband Walter of Coventry and Earlene E. Watrous of Manchester, her son Earl F. Watrous and his wife Mary E. of CA; her granddaughters Jessica E. Watrous, Katie A. Koch and her husband Albert and Melissa L. Watrous. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Willard Watrous and his wife Joyce, and several nieces and nephews. Lillian was the last surviving sibling of the 11 Martineau children of Willimantic. Funeral service will be held on Saturday (June 6th) at 9:15 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Church 80 Main St. Manchester followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Willimantic.
