Obituary of Lise D. Gates

Lise D. Gates, 78, of Manchester, died Saturday May 9th at Westside Care Center. Born in Manchester, the daughter of the late Raymond and Yvonne (Cadieux) Trudeau, she was a lifelong resident of Manchester and a graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 1955. During her lifetime, Lise had worked at many local businesses, including Stop & Shop, Waldbaums, and Shaws. She is survived by her daughter Lori Gates and her companion Thomas Stough of Manchester, her son and daughter-in-law Dean and Tami Gates of Manchester, four grandchildren, Christina Pinkham, Matthew Pinkham, Ashlyn Gates, and Dean Gates, her great-grandson Merick Pinkham, her sister Claire March of East Hartford, her brother Joseph "Bobby" Trudeau of Manchester, and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Larry Trudeau and Carmen Hartley. Funeral services will be held of Friday May 15th at 9:30 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Assumption, 29 Adams St., South at 10:00 with burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, May 14th from 5:00-7:00. Memorial donations may be made in Lise's name to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
