Brian Kiernan, 79, of Manchester, the husband of Barbara (Holland) Kiernan died Friday, May 8, 2015 at Crestfield Convalescent Home, Manchester. Born in Ireland, he had lived in Manchester for many years. An avid sportsman, skeet and trap shooter, Brian was a member of the Andover Sportsman's Club, and the Rockville Fish and Game Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother Leslie Kiernan of Australia; sister-in-law Joyce Holland of Manchester; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (May 13th) at 11:00 a.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:00-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
