Obituary of William T. Scully

William T. Scully, 89, of Manchester, the husband of Kathleen A. (McDermott) Scully died Sunday, February 15, 2015 with his family by his side. Born in Exeter, NH he was the son of the late Daniel and Valerie Scully and had lived in Manchester for many years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Bill loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. He had a great sense of humor and was a great handyman and loved to help out his family and friends. He also truly loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his children Jeffery Scully and his wife Maureen of Rangely Plantation, ME and Kathleen Howe of Manchester; his granddaughters Amanda Howe and her boyfriend Scott Anderson, and Kristen McLaughlin and her husband Scott; his great-granddaughters Alexis and Aria; his brothers David Scully and Steve Scully and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Friday (February 20th) at 10:30 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption 29 Adams St. South, Manchester followed by burial with Military honors in Hillstown Cemetery, Manchester.
