Christine Ann Shea Riordan passed away peacefully on Monday February 9th at her home in Willimantic, CT. Chris attended East Catholic High School in Manchester, CT and proceeded to continue her education attending Simmons College in Boston, MA, where she graduated with honors. Chris was an avid sports enthusiast excelling in swimming, golf and skiing. Chris worked for a number of years at the Aetna in the claim department. She worked her way up to Sr. Claim Representative. Chris was a loving and caring person who would always be there to lend a helping hand to family and friends. Chris was predeceased by her husband Richard Riordan, her mother Grace K. Shea, her twin brother Kevin J. Shea and her father John F. Shea Jr. She is survived by her older brother Martin Shea, his wife Lynn Shea and her nephews Matt and Colin Shea, her brother Daniel Shea and his wife Doris Shea and her nieces Michell Gaffney and Isabella Shea. She will be dearly missed. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 17th, at 10:00AM at St. James Church, 896 Main St., Manchester followed by burial in St. Bridget Cemetery, Manchester.
