Obituary of Conrad Hauk
Conrad J. Hauk, Jr., 59, of Manchester, finished his earthly adventure on Jan. 22, 2015. He was in a valiant fight against cancer for a decade and took his heavenly flight after a sudden heart attack. Conrad was inspirational and a hero to many he met due to his strength and courage and positive, hopeful personality. He loved his work as a firefighter most, and also enjoyed careers at NCR, helping people with disabilities, and owning his own construction company. He treasured being with people and riding his motorcycle.
Conrad was born and raised in Manchester in 1955 and lived most of his life in the area. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, who has been his partner for more than 22 years. He will also be missed by his Father and three brothers, Paul, Robert and Anthony, and many close friends and family members. He has many wonderful Facebook lifelong friends who, along with Rob and Johnny, have supported and encouraged him throughout his illness.
