Obituary of Charles R. Nash

Charles R. Nash, Jr, 92, the beloved husband of sixty-seven years to Angeline (Leone) Nash died on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Charles was born in Westfield, MA the son of Charles, Sr. and Florence (Hutchins) Nash and was a long time resident of Windsor Locks before moving to East Hartford in 1970. He proudly served in the US Army, First Division, 7th Field Artillery during World War II. He volunteered at the voting polls in East Hartford and as an aid at the Keeney St. School in Manchester for their noontime program and was a lifelong Red Sox fan. Charles had a tremendous love and passion for his family that, besides his wife Angeline, included his sons and daughters-in-law Vincent R. and Diane Nash of Marysville, WA and Sarasota, FL., Donald V. and Janet Nash of Virginia Beach, VA and Charles R. III and Donna Nash of Manchester; his grandchildren Carolyn Nash, Wayne Nash, Christopher Nash, Aaron Nash, Elizabeth Valli, Andrew Nash, Caleb Nash and Stephen Nash and his great grandchildren Aleia, Keller, Kensie, Kendall, Madison and Camden. Charles was predeceased by his eight brothers and sisters. A memorial funeral service will be held on Friday (1/2/15) at Trinity Covenant Church 302 Hackmatack St. Manchester at 11:00am. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, KA 66675. The John F.
