Geoffrey George Kermode, 51, of Waterford passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Geoff was born on September 3, 1963 in Kirkwood, MO to the late George E. Kermode and Zora Sue Kermode and predeceased by his nephew Matthew Freeman. Geoff was raised in Glastonbury, CT, Boxford, MA and Moultonborough, NH. He was a loving father with a caring heart and was compassionate about his family and friends. Geoff loved watching his sons play football and enjoyed helping the Colchester Cougars Youth Football Team. He was proud of his daughter and her many accomplishments. He owned a copier repair business in Cape Cod and worked many years for copier service companies in CT. His latest employment was with M2 Services Corp. at the US Army National Guard in Groton. He loved camping, fishing, boating and grilling. Geoff is survived by his three children, Kayla, Dylan and Jared and their mother, Eileen Rice Kermode of Colchester; his step-mother Louise Kermode of California; siblings Zan Freeman and her husband Billy of Peabody, MA; Gwen Kermode of Charlton, MA; Lynn Furbush and her husband Jim of Stratford, CT; Pat Mouring and her husband Tim Perkins of Topsfield, MA; Debbie Scarpace and her husband Tony of Marlborough, CT, Terri Cameron and her husband Bob of Marlborough, MA, Michael Kermode and his wife Maureen of Vernon, CT. Geoff also leaves 25 nieces and nephews and a dozen great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Monday (December 8th) at 11:00 at the Wapping Community Church 1790 Ellington Road, South Windsor, CT. Family and friends may call at the John F.
