Obituary of Raymond Leonard
Raymond Leonard (aka Raymond Johnson), 94, of Manchester, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Manchester Manor. Born in Middletown, he was the son of Grace (Zwanziger) Brazos. Raymond was a US Army veteran of World War II, and had retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as General Forman of Experimental after 37 years of service. He is survived by his daughters, Karen Flemming and her husband William of Manchester and Nancy Johnson of Berlin; his grandchildren Brian and Michael Flemming, and Robin Coccomo and her husband Paul; 10 great-grandchildren; and his longtime companion Anne Baer of Thompson, CT. Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of the arrangements.
