Michael T. Danahy, 55, the son of Neil Danahy and the late Jo-Ann (Donnelly) Danahy died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 16th at his home. Michael was born in Hartford, grew up in Manchester and has lived in New Windsor since 1998. He received his law degree from UCONN. He had previously worked at UST, Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and was currently employed by Purdue Pharma, L.P. Besides his father Michael is survived by his children Ryan Danahy and Brittany Harrison, his siblings Mary Ann Chokas and her husband Gary, Brenda Lorange and her husband Robert, Brian Danahy and Thomas Danahy and his special friend Beatriz Shusdock. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester at 11:00. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
