Obituary of Jerry Bergeron
Jerry W. Bergeron, 66, of Manchester, the husband of Patricia D. (Batsie) Bergeron died Saturday (March 3, 2012) at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Willimantic, he was the son of Norma (Wylie) Bergeron of Willimantic and the late Eugene J. Bergeron, Sr. He had retired from Kay's Trucking. Jerry loved Indianfield Campground. He loved boating and spending time with family and friends. He was always available at a moment's notice when any of them needed help, plus, he was very creative and usually able to figure out everyone's problem, as well as his own. He was a real competitor and enjoyed archery, cribbage, and cards. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter Kim (Bergeron) Rymarzick and her husband Tom of Manchester, his grandchildren Dylan and Cody; and his siblings, Eugene J. Bergeron, Jr. and his wife Lillian L. Bergeron of Willimantic, and Nancy (Bergeron) White and her husband Gary White of Lebanon. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Sandra Dolan of AL, Frances Stearns and her husband Irving of East Hartford, and Margaret Carlin and her husband William of North Carolina, his brother-in-law William Batsie and his wife Denise of Manchester, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (March 7th) at 10:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 am at the Church of the Assumption 27 Adams Street South, Manchester, followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8.
