Dorothy Ann Payne-Jones, 62 of Austell, GA passed away at her home on September 29, 2014. She was born in Hartford, CT to the late Amos and Annie (Miller) Payne on February 5, 1952. Dorothy grew up in Hartford where she, graduated from Hartford High School and St Joseph College for Women with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. Dorothy worked for the US Post Office for seven years after which she began her own business and worked until retirement. She moved to Atlanta, GA in 2010 and joined Wisdom Ministry Outreach Center Church and began the work that the Lord called her to. She deeply interested in the study of teaching of End Times and was moved to win souls for Christ. Dorothy is survived by her children: son, Troy Payne wife Erin Payne, son Tavonne Payne, daughter, Tina Payne, grandchildren; Troy Jr., Desiree, Alyssa and Manori, two brothers and two sisters and a host of many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by husband Thomas Jones, and daughter Tammie Payne. Funeral service will be held on Thursday (October 9th) at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Living God 70 Whitney Street Hartford, CT followed by burial in East Cemetery, Manchester.
