Peggy Ann Tew, 72, of Manchester, died Wednesday (September 10, 2014) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford surrounded by her family. Born in Meridian, MS, she was the daughter of the late Thelma Warren. Peggy Ann was a long time employee at Sam's Club. She is survived by her daughters Margaret Marie Sansone of Mashesney Park, IL, Linda Lee Callahan and her husband Matthew Augustus of Vernon and Jacqueline Lorean Tew of Glastonbury; her grandsons Phillip L. Brownewell and his wife Sarah of Seneca,IL, Matthew Callahan of South Burlington, VT, Robert Ekstrom of Woodstock, IL and Jared Ekstrom of Rockford, IL and her siblings Frances Scott and her husband Leon of Elkhart, TX, Rita Fay Benton and her husband James, Alice Fay Slayton and Charlie Warren all of Meridian, MS and her beloved cat, Lilah. Peggy Ann was also predeceased by her brothers Johnny, Ronnie and Earl Warren. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester, CT had care of the arrangements.
