Roger Allan Wesson, Sr., 67, of Manchester, the husband of Bonnie (Thompson) Wesson died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at his home. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the Calvin and Grace (Hills) Wesson. Roger honorably served in the US Army. He retired from Pratt & Whitney after many years of service and later was a self-employed contractor for many years. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Roger Wesson and his wife Maria of New Hampshire, Matthew Wesson and his wife Marie of Manchester, Stephanie Watkins and her husband Robby of East Hartford, and James Wesson of Minnesota; his grandchildren Olivia, Elijah, Resse and Sadie; and numerous loving extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (September 2nd) at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, CT.
