Obituary of Annette Hills

Annette (Bombanti) Hills, 62, the beloved wife of Michael C. Hills died on Saturday (August 30, 2014) at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Hartford, the daughter of Patrick and Shirley Bombanti of Rocky Hill and had lived in West Willington for many years.

Annette obtained her Associates degree in Medical Science and worked for multiple doctors in the Greater Hartford area. She volunteered full time for two years at the World Wide Lighthouse Missions. She had a great love for being at the ocean and gardening.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was kind to all she met, is also survived by her children and their spouses Charles and Jennifer Hills of Plainville, Cathleen and Jason Wohllebe of Windham, Micheal-John and Michelle Hills of Manchester, Patrick Hills of Manchester, Robert Hills of Willington, Peter-James Hills of Willington, Sean Hills of Willington, Matthew Hills of NJ and Jonathan Hills and Jessica Knapp of Windham; twenty-three grandchildren, a great-grandchild and her siblings Janet Camilleri and her husband Robert of Rocky Hill, James Bombanti and his wife Romaine of Cape Cod, and Patricia Legrand and her husband Ludwig of East Hartford and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John Bombanti.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5th, at 10:00 a.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by interment in East Cemetery, Manchester.
