Sandra G. Murphy, 49, of Manchester died Tuesday, June 24, at her home. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Delores Murphy of Vernon and the late Joel Williams. Sandra had a love for dance. She enjoyed dancing for many years before becoming an instructor at The Artist Collective in Hartford. Sandra is survived by her daughter Darien Hicks of East Hartford and her son Daryl Hicks, Jr. of Vernon. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shayla Jemison, Destiny Hicks, and Desirae Hicks. Funeral service will be held at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St. Manchester, on Tuesday (7/1) at 11:00am with burial to follow in East Cemetery, Manchester.
