Anne Rose (Berry) Lavey, of East Hartford, Connecticut, beloved wife of 68 years to Raymond Ernest Lavey, died peacefully at home on June 11, 2014. Anne was born on November 25, 1923 and was the second of three daughters born to Alice (Hanley) Berry and Joseph Berry. Her much loved sisters, Mary Frances (Fran) Dwyer and Eleanor (Nola) Brady predeceased her. She leaves her daughters Nancy Abraham and husband Robert of Kingston, Massachusetts, and Janet of East Hartford. And she leaves her sons John and wife Johanna of Garden Grove, California and Daniel of Farmington, New Mexico. She was a much loved grandmother to Paul and Peter Abraham, Jonathan, Kristin, Sarah, Patrick, Joshua, Christopher, Caitlin and Ryan Lavey. She also leaves a great grandchild Nathan. Friends are invited to a celebration of her life at the Manchester Country Club following a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 1 Community Street, East Hartford, Connecticut on Monday, June 16. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home is handling the arrangements, and, at Anne's request, the burial will be private.
