Carmelo William "Bill" Felice, 89, of East Hartford, husband of the late Lucy Felice, entered into eternal rest on Saturday May 17th. Born and raised in Manchester, Bill was the son of the late Guiseppi and Concetta Felice. After graduating from Manchester High School in 1943, Bill served in the U.S. Army during World War II, fighting in the European theater. After returning home, he headed to California to continue his education, becoming a civil engineer and land surveyor. Married in 1953 Bill and Lucy settled in East Hartford to start raising their family. Surviving Bill are his children, Diane Felice, Patricia Felice, Joseph Felice and Paul Felice; grandchildren Jason, Jack, Tessa and Lila; great grandson Jason, Jr. and his sister and brother-in-law Theresa and Lawrence Falco. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (May 21, 2014) at 9:45 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. James Church, Manchester with burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.
