Obituary of Cecelia S. Miller
Cecelia S. Miller, 91, of Vernon formerly of Manchester, the wife of the late Raymond P. Miller, Sr. died Monday, April 28, 2014 at Fenwood Manor. Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Curran) Sullivan, and had lived in Manchester for many years before moving to Vernon in 2007. She was a communicant of St. Bridget Church and lovingly spent her life taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Raymond P. Miller, Jr. of Vernon, Kathleen M. Helm and husband Herman S. of Manchester, Jacqueline A. Baker and husband Glenn W. of Florida; her grandchildren Helen (Helm) Hartley and husband William, Robert S. Helm and wife Patricia, and James W. Baker; seven great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; her sister Margaret Daigle of Vernon and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by 6 siblings, Helen, Bernard, John, Joseph, Catherine and Frances. Funeral service will be held on Monday (May 5th) at 10:00 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street Manchester with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bridget Church 80 Main Street Manchester, followed by burial in St. James Cemetery.
