Obituary of George H. Beebe

George H. "Poppie" Beebe, 84, of Manchester, the husband of the late Jane (Mooney) Beebe died peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday (April 28, 2014) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late Harold and Tryphena (Ahl) Beebe and had been a lifelong resident. He is survived by his sons, Mark Beebe and his wife Mary of Manchester, and Chris Beebe of Sharon, MA; his grandchildren Michele Beebe, Kevin Beebe and his wife Tanya, Jennifer Beebe and Brian Beebe, all of Manchester; his great-grandchildren James, Olivia, Connor, Alana, and Noah; his sister Marilyn Keyes and her husband Curly of California; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his son Kevin, granddaughter Shannon, great-granddaughter Colleen and 6 siblings. George's family would like to offer a special note of thanks to the staff at Crestfield Convalescent Home for the compassion and care. Funeral service will be held on Friday (May 2nd) at 10:00 a.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shannon M.
