Maria (Ancheta) Timoteo, 84, the widow of Alejandro Timoteo died on Friday (February 10, 2012) in Vernon. Maria was born in the Philippines the daughter Antonio and Florentina (Bermudez) Ancheta. She took tremendous pride and greatly enjoyed her work as a seamstress. She also loved gardening and taking long walks. Maria is survived by her children Virginia Clere and her husband Robert of Bolton, Wulfilda Emond and her husband Jeffrey of South Windsor and Jaime Timoteo of Manchester; her grandchildren Kathleen Emond, Xian Clere and Christopher Clere; six sisters and her daughter-in-law Curita Timotoe. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday (2/14) at 9:15 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at St. Bridget Church, Manchester followed by burial in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford.
